The Company

CONNOLLY, a premier real estate developer and investor in the Southeast, provides a focused, full-service approach to its developments and investments. Since 1972, CONNOLLY has completed more than 40 retail, commercial land, office projects, and mixed-use projects in the Southeastern U.S. totaling more than 3,000,000 square feet with a value of nearly $500,000,000.

CONNOLLY has been lead developer for several urban mixed-use projects in Atlanta, with an emphasis on walkability and transit. As a trusted developer and proven investor for more than forty-five years, the Atlanta-based team leverages experience in leasing, acquisitions, project design and development management, property and asset management and brokerage services.

The Team

Timothy “J.R.” Connolly II, Chief Executive Officer

JR is the executive leader at CONNOLLY, with 40 years of hands-on experience in all aspects of the company’s operations, including property management, shop leasing, outlot sales, brokerage, major tenant leasing, site acquisition, financing, dispositions, development/project management and investment management. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

David Connolly, Principal

David is responsible for acquisition, development, and asset management of mixed-use and retail projects with deep value-add components that emphasize neighborhood restaurants and retail. He oversees asset and property management at CONNOLLY. Previously, David worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company and is a graduate of Dartmouth College.

Meghan Schmidt, Principal & CFO

Meghan manages development and acquisition for mixed-use and retail projects as well as serving as CONNOLLY’s CFO overseeing accounting. She focuses on driving value for investors, tenants, and customers through thoughtful partnerships and strategic execution to bring out the best in every project. Meghan previously worked at Mastercard in data and analytics and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

Ashley Coghan, Property Manager

Ashley is responsible for retail and mixed-use asset management, process streamlining, tenant satisfaction and retention, resource management, and application of value-add strategies that contribute to the overall asset success. Before CONOLLY, Ashley worked for 10 years managing commercial office and retail properties across diverse markets, including New York City, Boston, Miami, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. She is dedicated to enhancing the tenant experience by fostering relationships and ensuring properties operate at peak performance.

Becca Dodd, Property Manager

Becca is a dedicated Retail Property Manager at CONNOLLY and is responsible for ensuring her properties operate smoothly and efficiently. She oversees property maintenance, tenant relations and financial management with a focus on maximizing property value and tenant satisfaction. Becca has worked in retail property management in the Atlanta market for 7 years with EDENS and CTO Realty Growth and received her CPM from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) in February 2024.

DeLyse Werner, Accounting Manager

DeLyse’s duties include processing accounts receivable/payable, cash management, maintaining the general ledger and financial reporting. She came to CONNOLLY from Taylor & Mathis.
